Great video Ramonesfreak! Magpies are also part of the Corvidae family and can also recognize individual human faces. There's a fair number that live in our neighborhood. A few years ago (immediately after we had an extermination service spray our exterior for box elder bugs) a female came to the back deck to investigate all the dead bugs. I made a point of waving to her, and also quickly put out a small dish with dry dog food next to the bug carcasses. It took a few weeks for her to become acclimated to me, but now she does stop by with her kin in the Fall & Winter for dog food. I also make sure that she and her group share in our Thanksgiving Day feast. Here's a quick video from a few years ago...
