I'd raise the car to 'euro height' and put 65 series tires on it. Ideally on 5.5" rims as that will give it a great feel to the steering.
Having had the chance to sample a stock 912 with 4.5" wheels and skinny tires it was eye opening how hard the 6" wheels and 60 series tires made my steering feel.
