I don't have a measurement for you. I bought my 2000 Boxster S when it was 3 years old, and about 14,000 miles. I can't swear to it, but it sure seems like it was never hit or touched up there. The original owner had all records and Carfax showed no accidents. That is not proof. But I can tell you that was the one thing about mine - the bumper never fit exactly right. Particularly at the peak in the bumper where it goes up to the fender and headlight. It always stuck out there a tiny bit, no matter how tried to adjust it. And it was forward enough that the cut outs on the top of the bumper just below the headlights were just visible.
Of course, just today, we finally took it off and swapped on a factory GT3 bumper. It lines up perfectly. I tried everything I could to get the original one to fit right. The GT3 one just fit immediately.
