3.0L 78 SC engine swap into 69 911T wiring question
Hi everyone,
Looking for some guidance for best course of action. I'm attempting to swap a 78 3.0L into a 69 911T. Initially I was planning on trying to re-wire the 69 engine bay wiring into a 14 pin connector to connect to the engine harness, and wiring up an MSD 6A for the CDI. However I just noticed a section in the wiring where it comes out of the tunnel appears a bit burnt (the outer covering is completely melted). Given that I was going to have to pin a connector anyway, wondering if I might be better off getting a new 911SC harness and trying to integrate that into the 69 Fuse Box? Or do I repair the burnt section of the harness and continue with my original plans?
