CSV was the problem on my 1978SC. Car now starts too readily so to ensure there is oil round the cams on start up I now remove the fuel pump relay and build up oil pressure before replacing the relay as I fear that there won't be any oil on some parts; the start up is that fast.

Sometimes my 83 starts instantly, sometimes it takes 5-6 seconds of cranking. The cranking used to bother me but now I think it may be a good thing to get the oil moving.
