Every time my neighbor makes a comment about how he would do it , Im just dying inside, to hand the job off to him, and watch him struggle . " Sure Paul, show me, here ya go !" get er done !!!
I mean, this is the guy who comes over for help changing a lawn tractor belt, then critiqued my work, when I was installing a diesel engine in my tow truck last summer .
He made the" psst" sound of disapproval when I was pulling it out ,without removing the entire front clip . So, then , instead of working on my project , and getting things done, I end up arguing, or explaining myself with someone who could not pull this work off in his wildest dreams .
I was actually going to post about this a few weeks ago, when I called him " Mr Obvious " .
I was in go mode, and he kept nagging at me, and getting me off the machine to tell me how to do it a different way .
My old landlord had a saying for this, that I always thought was funny .
When someone would start bugging him while he was working on something, he would say
"Im f^%$king this horse, you just stand there, and look out for the farmer "
I have no idea if he made that up , or if its an old farmer saying, but we all peed ourselves laughing when he used it on an annoying client .
Carry on .
And you don't just ignore him? Just completely not respond.

That's hilarious! I'm going to have to remember that.
