No Oilers fan here. Was disappointed that they went out with out much of a fight in game 6.
Second place is the first loser.... So the Oilers came in first with that.
They do have some talent and when those (1.5) lines bring the pressure they are very hard to defend against. Hardly a team that was designed to win at the cup level.
Florida was bringing it with all 4 lines. Great team effort and very well coached.

So in a way, the folks from north of the 49th still win the cup...
Calgary misses Sam Bennet probably more than Tkachuk but there is always next year for the Flames. Hopefully some more well engineered trades and great draft picks will move on the rebuild. They missed the playoffs in the last week of the regular season ending up with 96 points. Not bad for a crew that was predicted to be competing for the #1 draft pick this past season.
