Well, it’s never a good time to reveal bad news, but here it goes. I fell ill at Christmas and was subsequently diagnosed with incurable stomach cancer. One never knows what’s around the corner, and I am determined to make the best of the situation while I still have my marbles and my body can function.
Lucky for me that I have a close and supportive family, and especially my dear wife and soulmate of 57 years.
The whole family is into cars, especially Porsches. I have given my daughter the blue ‘06 Carrera S 3.8, and the orange RST to my son. The Albert blue S/T (the Sweet Transplant), currently under construction, is slated for my daughter-in-law. My son, grandson, and I will hopefully finish it over the next few months or so.
So this will probably be my last post on this thread, but I will continue the Sweet Transplant thread as long as I can.
A big thank you to all of you who have followed my journey and given me support and advice with my RST. I love that hot rod, and so does my son!
