The two sports car solution is tricky. For me, one needs to be open air and the other a coupe. Given my climate situation, the winter car needs a tin top. Your climate is milder so a 997.2 cab with PDK would be a solid daily/ice cream/dog grooming car and would offer a different experience than LBDC.

I've learned over the years that if you want a happy wife, make sure she has access to a convertible sports car. Also of note, my parent's dog loves riding in the back of the targa. 911s are dog cars for sure.
