Hey Dixie,
You are sort of doing a version of Imposter Syndrome. I had a horrible case of this in my career at one time. Not sure how I overcame it, but I eventually did. Anyone who has these lines of self-doubt (and similar) needs to find help or help yourself. There is ZERO benefit from this sort of dialogue.
(Not to say that you shouldn't live within your means. People spending far far too much is a different issue)
