I’ve been busy the last few months - Going back to school because my Seminoles were terrible and need a backup plan for CFB on Saturdays in the Fall (Go Trojans!), bought a great property in N CA near Oregon so my kids get to experience a childhood more akin to mine when I was young, but I’ve set a date with my mechanic to help with the 3.6 VRam install. July 16-19. I figure 24 hours should be more than sufficient but those with experience please chime in.

I received two of the last three pieces required yesterday, OS Giken LSD and PMS 3.6 conversion tins. Just waiting on the exhaust which should ship tomorrow early next week. I may have to modify the oil pan to get it to fit however. Anyone have experience with this?

Picture of the engine that’s been sitting for six months and some of the wildlife on the trail cameras I set up 300 meters from the house.

Now for engine break-in… I’ve read for hours and don’t want to make a mistake. Do I just follow Wayne’s book? Can/should I break it in with a high zinc oil and then swap to Mobile 1? That story of the guy with 700,000 miles on his 996T really had an impact.
