A couple of marital stats in N. America I googled. 50 percent of marriages end up in separation or divorce. 74 percent of couples that are married say they are happily married. They did not mention what the definition of happily married was. Is happily married not killing each other or no infidelity? No specifics there. Not great stats for the young uns who are not married yet.
