I don't have an issue with people self medicating, alcohol has been doing it legally for decades but I'm not a fan of smoked pot because of the smell. Cigars and cigarettes don't have as pervasive a smell. Pot smoke travels and sticks.
I'm in Springfield, MA this summer for work and it certainly seems like dispensaries outnumber grocery stores and there's no shortage of grocery stores.
