That’s at the top of my wife and i’s post-kids to do list. Except probably minus the camping part. Also no interstates, back roads only.
We actually kicked around buying an RV and keeping it at the lake where we already keep our boat. Reality quickly kicked in when we started looking around. $100k gets you an RV that’s made out of cardboard, the quality is absolute garbage. If you want quality you either buy a used one and remodel, or add another zero to the price tag. As for towing or driving something around massive around the country, hell no. There’s nothing less relaxing in my mind.
