For a bunch of bites or a large area like that, (assuming itching and inflammation) you can take allergy meds like Zyrtec, Claritin, Benedryl, etc.... They block the histamine reaction which makes a huge difference. It's easier than trying to coat yourself or large parts of yourself in calamine/caladryl lotion.
