The drivers ratings thing is a weird one to me. In my MC days I had to grid up with front running Pros getting some time at club races and several friends were mid packers.
Just grid up and do your best to hang on.
Another thought is, there should be a IMSA team principle sprint race.
The guys who are paying for it all, heads up.
