Anyone remember the Coors cans that had three buttons to push to open the can, and shred your fingertips. They were not on the market for long.
Back in the mid 1970s Coors was not available in Alabama. On my trips to see my grandparents I would load up 4 cases of Coors in the front trunk of my 914, and four in the rear trunk. As a bachelor, I traveled light on luggage. I could sell the Coors in Alabama and pay for my gasoline cost, and still have a profit.
I moved to Oklahoma in 1978, so that was the end on my bootlegging.
