Last year, I had a tree taken down and asked them to cut it as close to the ground as possible. It was close to the fence line on the edge of a field, so I thought I would just drive over it with my JD. They left it about 6 inches high and impossible to drive over.
I decided to use Stump-Out.
The stump measured 6' 7" in circumference. I had some 10" flashing that I cut to 7' long and made a small barrel around it. I used my Bauer 10" battery chain saw to score the top in multiple lines. Poured the Stump-Out in, added water, and let it set for 6 weeks.
Last Wed., I added a couple layers of Kingsford to the top and 'lit er up'.
It burned for 3 days and then rain came.
