Correct! The vacuum line must be connected for quiet operation at off throttle/partial throttle. At WOT, the Super Sport is very racey/loud when the valve opens, but that was the intention. Bursch also offers a traditional two-in two-out stainless sport muffler (Rally Sport) that is quieter but still an aggressive sound.
