I restored a Shakespeare Mantis reel (red one) using a combination of parts from the red one and the silver one and made a nice reel with smooth action. I also carefully removed the nylon line brake from the Shakespeare parts reel and have installed it in my Zebco 33 Classic!!! One of these days I will go fishing!!!
