The grease for my distributor arrived and after sitting disassembled on my work bench for the last three weeks I got it back together and into the car. Fortunately I had read about some of the issues with the replacement outer seal on the distributor body making it impossible to get back into the engine. That was my experience as well and after working on it for a while and gettting nowhere I swapped back to the old seal and it went right back in.
Took the car on a quick 30 mile blast around town and all seems well… I had forgotten how loud it is with cat bypass and fabspeed supercup.
