Any use sprayable plasti-dip on front lower spoiler?
I just did a thorough cleaning of my 1988 Turbo Look cabriolet, and I can't help but notice that the lower front spoiler, the part closest to the ground (930-503-055-01-OEM)
is looking a bit rough. It has some gouges and imperfections, from 100k miles of use. But its not nearly bad enough to replace, and besides these things are about $1500 at Suncoast, and I wouldn't consider spending that much for what is ultimately a minor , barely noticeable cosmetic imperfection.
But I was thinking it could just be sprayed over with plasti-dip, or flex seal, but I don't want to make it worse, or look terrible, then wish I'd never bothered. Has anyone tried this? The one consideration is that there is small Porsche logo right in the middle and I suspect any spray covering would obscure the logo.
