I used the 993 NON-RS uprights. I did sort them with timeserts for caliper bolts and built out the latest hub/bearing setup. You use 993 abs washer and press on the 964 outer wheel.

I did something else non-conventional. I modified the 964 longitudinal to push the control arm out by 8mm. I did this because 993 uprights (rs and non rs) have a slightly different balljoint location, causing the track to be reduced by 8mm when used on a 964. Otherwise, your options are 964long and 993 upright = -8mm. 993 long and 993 upright = +8mm. This situation is why you see most people struggle to get enough camber after a 993 upright swap onto a 964.
