Along with all the parts I got a few weeks ago was this lower RC24 fairing with a huge crack along the middle. Luckily it was still in one piece. I had set it aside for a later repair and last night I decided to at least get the crack stabilized to avoid escalation of the crack.

Here's the fairing on the day I was washing all the parts.....

And what the repair looks like on the rear side of the fairing. I sanded off the white paint along the crack - just on the inside. Then placed aluminum tape along the front side of the crack. Then used a plastic welder to melt both sides of the crack together. Then melted one stick of white ABS flat stock along the crack. Sucker is pretty solid now so will set it aside until the day comes to continue. Probably sometime this winter or next spring when I have the time.
