Its underrated. Lotta noise for one thing. Maybe a lotta dark if you have shutters up and no power.
It was only exciting the first time for Irma when I noticed water coming through a ceiling HVAC vent. Turns out rain was getting blown in through roof vents. Problem solved by going into attic and stuffing towels into the openings. Have whole house generator now, vent diverters, and very easy to close hurricane shutters so little prep needed now.
