I have had a set of wheels on my off roading Jeep plasti dipped black for over a decade and they haven’t faded to brown. Have had to touch them up a few times as they get torn up sometimes from when they are buried in mud/dirt and spinning. It’s a lot rougher than anything the front spoiler would see unless you are regularly running into curbs with it.
Now having said that I imagine it would be a lot tougher to get off the spoiler than off a metal surface so I agree that could be a real pain if you decide you don’t like it. It sometimes will peel on my wheels because it gets torn and the friction will tend to pull it off, but again that’s not what your spoiler will experience. When I respray parts of my wheels I just rip off any loose hanging bits and hit the whole thing, you can put as many layers as you want on. Having said that having a thick coating of multiple layers makes it a bit easier to peel off… at least on slick metal surfaces.
