Hey guys , last year on a total whim I made a 60 dollar bid on ebay for a Echo 452 chainsaw . Seller said it didn't run . I won the chainsaw and it was delivered in about a week . Really in good visual shape . I checked for spark and that was solid . I bought a carb rebuild kit and new fuel and air filters . Then life got in the way
By luck last week on the Next door Neighborhood app someone was talking up what a great job some guy did getting their weedeater running . What the heck I contacted the guy . He came to the house today and did the rebuild . Got the saw running and fine tuned the idle and lo/hi speed jets . All for 50 bucks !
It's a 1970's vintage with 45cc's and a 16 " bar . It has very good compression and sounds/feels VERY strong . I don't cut much wood and I have a newer Poulan my wife bought a few years ago . But there is just something cool about an old piece of machinery that is over built . It is all metal and doesn't have a chain brake . A widow maker

. I will post a picture tomorrow.
