Stock Ford 5.0 reman engine. They don’t make crate engines and the remans are hard to come by. I found this one from a fellow member on a F150 forum who works at a dealer in WI.
I used an engine hoist. It was in a box, which I hope to keep, but the engine lift would not go high enough.
I ended up, lifting the engine, just enough to clear the bed and tailgate, then pulled the truck forward, rather than trying to pull the hoist engine away from the truck.
Then lowered it down on the dolly I made.
My first attempt to lift it covered with the box below.
