Maybe, but not all... I'm not a boomer (hate these generation "boxes"), born later, but my Porsche journey has generally been one of working my way backwards in time and discovering the old cars.. All my oldies has points. I did try a pertronix on a 356 20y ago and it failed (happens), went back to points on all subsequent cars..Wish I'd kept that..
