That knee pad is removed, has 4 nuts on studs that are tricky to reach that attach to underside of metal dash frame.
The all metal kneepad then takes it place using same mounting holes. Two pc. OEM kneepad fits either side of ashtray whereas the all metal alum one is one piece.
The gas door pull does not interfere or moved out of the way with either original or aftermarket. I believe the ashtray is eliminated at least the one I recall I was going to use.
