this is a strange question.
your dealing with a hand built car being this way the doors will in many cases have a bit of a convex curve to them. some will be flatter than other.
if your looking to put a straight edge across the doors and try to make it dead nuts flat your wasting your time. the factory doesn't do it so there is no reason for you to do it.
the edge along the rocker should follow the edge of the rocker the rocker also could or could not be 100% dead nuts flat and straight.
when you look down the door by eye it should be pretty dam flat and straight.
one of the 911 door problems is when the door checks break and the doors start to stop on the door shell rolling out the leading edge of the doors.
