The tree that I hit in 2012
In 2012 I fell asleep driving and hit a huge tree on the Merritt Parkway in CT. Would have died in nearly any other car than a 94 Mercedes wagon.
My gf and I drove by that spot yesterday. The tree had been cut down and there was a little painted weathered wooden cross next to it.
Really hit home. Still is.
Make every day count. Even if only in the smallest way.
