The body is cerakoted magnesium. The pocket clip can go on either side of the handle. The blade is made from M390 steel at 60-62 RHC so it should hold a nice edge. The blade has ruby ball bearings (like in watches) on both sides so the blade opens easily. The real trick up its sleeve is that it comes with some parts and a tool so that the knife can be converted to full auto. The knife also includes spare parts in case you lose something when swapping back and forth between manual and auto.
The knife has a very positive lock when open and closed. The action when in manual mode is very smooth and easy. It's a one handed open and close. It's also very smooth in auto mode.

I got the mini drop point with the gray handle like the top photo. It's small but big enough to operate and feels safe in the hand despite it's size. It's nice and light and should fit nicely in a pocket. I've been carrying Benchmade pocket knives daily since 1995. I like them because they are well made and engineered and I only buy models made with good steel that holds an edge. All of the BM knives that I've had feel to me like the Porsches of the consumer pocket knife market.

I feel like this work sharp is as good or better than most BM knives, and it was probably half the price of a similar BM at $129 for the mini or $139 for either of the full sized models. This thing is very well made and a bargain.
