The 205/55 makes it more challenging and can vary quite a bit with tire choice as already mentioned. I'm dealing with Pirelli P Zero on 15X7 Fuchs on my friend's 85. The 55 looks great but requires the car to be higher, significant negative front end camber, and rolled fenders edges.

MY 75 is about as low as you can get and I can still drive it practically without bottoming out on dips and obstacles - well except for that one huge rock that was hiding in the shadows! The 205/50 on a 15X6 looks pretty good albeit a bit small, but no rubbing and extremely low. I run three different tires and none of them catch the edge, even with my 245lb body weighing down the driver's side.

For the OP, I'd warm up the paint with a blow dryer or very carefully with a heat gun (far) and roll the edge with a bat, then I would raise the front maybe 1/2 turn on the height adjusters. That edge needs to be, at a minimum, rolled back to the stock height or say goodbye to that tire. It will keep catching that lip as noted.

You can see the transition point where I rolled it in this shot on my 75
