Interesting to note: None of these are South Carolina's trauma hospitals. A couple of these do not have a true ICU. It's easy to keep mortality rates down if you don't treat any traumas or hard cases.
Ms Rocket has been an ICU nurse for 45 years and worked in Louisiana (Ochsner) Georgia (Northside), South Carolina, North Carolina and all of the east coast up to Maine. She’s worked at both East Cooper (nurse and director) and Roper Mount Pleasant, and as you say, neither one is a real trauma or difficult ICU. And unless things have changed, Roper Mount Pleasant barely has any patients in the entire hospital.

I’ll have to ask her what she thinks about the list and the hospitals in South Carolina, but she’s in Maine finishing the Appalachian Trail.
