One can't go around feeling sorry for people that do not have ability. What I feel sorry about is that they will not find an equal replacement. A new appliance is the only thing I would buy an extended warranty for.
That or just buy 2, one for parts that you can replace on the donor as you go, Service call delays and backorders are out of control. YMMV
