Thanks Chris for your input. It’s a bit of a puzzle for sure.
A friend of mine had a 930-S with the same manifold as mine, no issues, but his didn’t come with the same larger IC, something they did in later years maybe. Some also had a taller decklid, so maybe this IC was from one of those models.
We’ll see if something can be fabricated to make it work without damaging the IC or manifold. If not, and assuming I don’t find this other manifold to try out, I’ll probably go aftermarket on the IC and let someone else figure it out.
