I have thought about this as well as I have 3 "fun" cars also. I have two Mustangs, a 1966 and 1992. I got the "66 at 17 and am the second owner so it will never go anywhere. I could sell the 1992 and not care, but my daughter wants it so I just put it in the storage for the winter and suspend the insurance.

My Pcar has appreciated pretty crazily since I bought in 2018, but like others have mentioned I have it insured and while the insurance bill is painful, it allows me to drive it. It is a rare color combo which makes it worth more to the right buyer, but not replaceable.

It is right in line with what I could buy a nice Speedster for, so there is a little worry, but I am not saving the car for its next owner.

For your question, the 993 is the only one you have that I have not owned. I had an '86 cab, a '92 Turbo and a '03 996TT.

If you have to sell one I would say the BMW as it would be the easiest to replace.

If you are dead set on selling one of the 911's, take them both for a spirited drive back to back and keep which ever one gives you the biggest smile.

You will make the most on the 993, but if it was me that is the one I would sell. The body shape just never grew on me. I did think about a 993TT, but as you have said, finding a good air cooled mechanic is getting harder and I think if I get another older one it will be a 1994 3.6 Turbo. Which is just a long way of me saying the 993 is my least favorite air cooled and they are worth a lot now, so I'd cash in on that.

Unless its S and has the widebody.......
