Kinda depends how much you actually drive and need a car. For work, travel ect.. If you are retired and dont drive too far or often its easier to live with less comfort and reliability even though you want more comfort and reliability. And driving a modern car for fun there is no adventure in it. I dont like modern cars also dont really go anywhere so one modern car is enough. My 82 sc is borderline modern and if driven too often is not really fun anymore. Also too reliable so noth much tinkering. The rest of my 7 cars are pre 1972 and they are fun and practical for local runs and always stuff to improve upon. So I would sell the 993 and bmw and get an older project car something that you always liked but never bothered to own.
