I learned from a house cleaner that Pledge is what they use on SS. And it makes it easier to clean the next time. I have Pledge just for that. Otherwise it is banned from the house. Just thinking, I'll have to try it on my machines.
Edit: I just used some Pledge on the painted surfaces of my used but new to me mill. It won't need painting so I'm not worried about the silicone. It cleaned the oil off well. It wasn't that bad though. If I do decide to paint it I will scrub it with Dawn or Purple Power
