door skins are folded over then you will find two small spot welds on the inner fold of the door skins where they are folded. door skins are not fully welded.
the reason door skin have a small tack weld or two is to stop the skin from moving over time. as the door opens , closes and the cars twists around from driving a door skin that is just folded over can move.
