If/when I sell one it won't be for another year or so. I'm still having a tough time deciding. It makes sense to keep the two cars that are appreciating. However the BMW is nice because it blends into the background and I don't have to worry about it getting stolen sitting in a parking lot while I'm running errands, etc.

In regards to what if one of the P cars is stolen or totaled -
that's what insurance is for - They're both on agreed coverage. But at this point in my life I really don't want to go searching for a replacement and work through someone else's deferred maintenance on a forty year old car. It was so much easier when you could pick up an Autotrader and see dozens of air cooled 911s for sale. These days it would be a headache finding a car equal to what you had and be certain you can out bid someone on some auction site.
