So I put the el cheapo Amazon muffler bypass pipes on and completely forgot about Afterhours. My concern with the bypass pipes was that it would be too loud (my 911SC with cat and muffler bypass is painful) but it seems the 996 cats do quite a bit to tame things.
The 996 is my primary daily driver and after a couple months the bypass pipes have been fine. I have the top down 99% of the time (it only goes up if I get caught in rain or to wash the car) so I’m exposed to the sound.
I’m gonna be out in California for a while in a couple months so I might try and go by Afterhours and check them out in person.
