Tip: go to a profession; barber or beauty supply. The real deal ones here in CA won't sell unless you have a license. But you can see what they have and maybe source it on your own. Check prices. My wife has kept her license active 40 years after her last job in a salon. So we go to CosmoProf, but they are expensive. Never seen such a selection of product anywhere like they have and if you want gallons, no problem.

For shears, Wahl has always been a good brand but I bet they make a consumer line and a pro line. I know at the supply these things are easily between 1 and $200. For those that use them all day, that's what they buy.

Looking a Google shopping you can get good shears for half that. And there's a lot of junk.
