09 Cayman S with 120,000 miles. Always maintained and on schedule. Looked up 1360 and I am not sure if its VVT valve or cylinder 6 is the misfire issue.

I am thinking about just yanking out the VVT valve but it can be the plug, coil, or valve lift control at cylinder 6. No way to tell unless I start pulling things apart. It looks like its pretty easy access? If its valve lift control, should I change all 6? That would be a PITA to get at from the ground? Do I need more specialize elec. equip to further test those parts?
