I did not have time to watch the whole video but he makes some good points off the bat. Not sure that I agree with him wrt piston ring pressure being a factor in carbonization of rings...I've torn down countless older engines with higher ring pressure, (against cylinder walls), that were extremely carbonized. Also, ring pressure is not the main factor that makes rings seal but having clean ring lands in pistons is. More on that later and I'll finish the video.

At least he's a likable guy, so many YT videos are unwatchable.
