So, former QB, so not one of the giant guys, but it's not like any of them are tiny weaklings. Who was the guy, ex-linebacker? Must have been huge.

I just don't understand getting in verbal arguments with random nutters.

"OK, yeah, you're right" and walk away. I guess maybe the testosterone charged competitive types can't do that.

And getting sprayed with pepper spray usually doesn't give you a "I was afraid for my life" jitters unless you were sprayed and then the sprayer knocked you down and started kicking you or something. If I spray someone with pepper spray, it's to give me a chance to leave without worrying about getting stabbed in the back while I leave.

Vaguely Related Note: I have seen a couple/few road rage videos where someone stopped in front of someone else and then approached the car that they had blocked in only to get a face full of pepper spray. That usually does a pretty thorough job of taking the piß out of them. I don't carry pepper spray, and I think I've been in that situation twice in my life, once over 25 years ago, the guy was a little drunk guy, and the first time probably 1990, and the dude seemed like a tweaker. Both times it was a surprise. And both times it ended as quickly as it started with the guy wandering off back to his car and me wondering WTF just happened.
