Bummer, Bill. I would think that your electronic records, plus the testimony of co-workers and associates with whom you conducted business on that day, would insulate you from any danger of conviction. But you might want to put that day off for a while and, in the meantime conduct what our attorneys call "discovery." In my country, you have a right to face your accuser. "Discovery" acquaints you with your accuser and his/her evidence against you. That should be illuminating. Then, see if your 'malicious persecution' suit can cause title of those peoples' weath to be trasferred to your name.
I do not think of myself as a vindictive sort. Indeed, I deal in disputes all the time, some of which I have some strong opinions and emotions about, and I rarely ever want anything more than to resolve the dispute and move on. But there are some areas/topics/behaviors that will get a "fight to the death" reaction out of me. Somebody's going down, and it's either going to be me, or its going to be you. You're being attacked, your person, your private life is being attacked, by a (so far) unseen terrorist crouching in the bushes. This is what flamethrowers are for.
