Thai phrases are easy.

i learned how to say, "not so spicy" fairly quickly. hahah

i spend months learning key phrases every trip. Brazil was tough, since my brain wanted to say everything in spanish.

in Mexico, my fishing guide thought i was damn near mexican with all the cuss words i knew. hahah..

you tell a japanese restaurant owner thank you for the meal, it is really respectful.

i am going to add, "it was a feast" to the end of it.
