Hopefully the problem has fixed itself, lol. But just incase it has not, how old is your Alternator? There are voltage regulator replacements for that. I chased a problem 10+ years ago on my E60 and it was the IBS or battery current sensor, the original ones were sensitive to moisture and would keep turning the cars control unit on slowly lowering battery voltage. Pretty sure that also controls charging.
